I think they have good team spirit. Because after loosing the Ashes, they still came back and dominated the world. That's team spirit.

They also have the best players in the world. They have the best bowlers (McGrath and Warne). They have the best Test batsman today, Ricky Ponting. And they have a lot of other class players.
Regulation without integration leads to suicide.

You are an idiot. Australia are the best team in the world, and you cannot deny that. Half of the Australian team would make up a World XI. Australia have world class players, the best players in the world.

Once Glenn McGrath and Warne retire, Australia will not be No.1 any more. So get ready, 1st spot is up for grabs! In 6 years time I would say South Africa would be no.1 in ODI. In Tests it would be so tight, so I don't really know.

yous don't understand that theres many people in australian state that could be playing now and some are just as good as them except there is none any better than punter. Fast bowlers we are introuble there and maybe australia could develop dan cullen who is way ahead in development at the same stage of warneys career but batting wise theres alot to look foward to. We could become an india cant bowl but we can bat

I wouldn't agree with crownmethod - you have to be a damn good player to play state cricket down under. In fact you can be sure there are guys playing grade cricket that are better than some of the players here in the English county championship.

clobber  theres guys that come over from county and play grade cricket and not many are successful. But yer it is true what your saying one of your blokes his name is jake ? (something) and he plays junior 19s for england and county (not the top level), but when he comes to australia he only gets a game in second grade and averages around 30. Were i cant remember his exact name but he played for bayswater/morley is western australia and he played county and apparen'tly has been doing ok for himself

Hmmmmm , Ponting won't open. Symonds will disappear. Warne's shoulder will give out well before he's 40. Stuart Clark will be 35......Brett Lee will be 33 and knackered and Tait will still be spraying it all over the park.

It looks like Australia won't be able to bowl Zimbabwe out after Warne and McGrath give it up!

that team looks old i think dan cullen, cameron white, chris hartley, adam croswaite or paine for keeper ,mark cosgrove, andre o'brien, callum ferguson should be in that team hussey will prpbably still be in the team at 35

that team will still beat england. clark will have more experience (he doesnt try bowl fast) tait will be experienced and will produce wicket taking deleveries, if warney isn't around cullen could do well,
Brett lee will do well at 33 with experience maybe not as much pace but will be more accurate and symonds probaly wont be around in the test team as much as i hate to say this but his test match figures are pathetic average of 19, although they can atleast look decent after bangladesh (hopefully)
But i think he could do well against england as he likes playing them as much as his figures don't show it.

what was wrong with symonds tour of south africa i think he did better then most of the other aussie batsmen took wickets made runs thats what you want from an all rounder isint it 30-40 odd runs and 2-3 wickets i think he played a good series its just the age concern hes already 30 and will be 35 in the next 5 years so i doubt hes name would still appear in the aussie squad 5 years from now

How does this stand with your comment ( on another thread) that SA produces the best pitches after the Australians??

Highly contradictory in my view.....

sledger ok just for you england make crap pitches south africa and australia make the best pitches but maybe not right at present times maybe to some bad weather during preparation or something.

I know gillespie and kaspa got smacked around at england, due to some good batting and poor bowling and i hate them anyways

That's coming from someone who couldn't match half their career averages. I'm sure you would get smashed around aswell, by international batsman.

yer your right it is, but for international level that was poor bowling and strauss and company put away the bad balls. Id rather have other bowlers in the team that can actually bowl.
