I use MB Malik Tiger gloves which are nice, although I can also say that SS Sunridges Matrix pads and gloves are quite superb

I have used a lot of different kinds of gloves. I find the Gray Nicholas are the best. I have used a lot of different pads as well, and I find that Kookabura pads are the best.

I don't know what it does, but I know what you are talking about. I will ask my coach at practice tomorrow.

It holds the pad firmly in place around your knee increasing protection to that area

Basically all soft products made in India/Pak.

Alot of them in the same factory,

get ripped off at your peril.

I am using Matrixx gloves and pads at the moment, which I have to say are superbly well made (India),have the same design as many of the branded goods available in the UK and cost half as much.Leaves me more money to spend on my bats and shoes!

I just bought new pads and gloves for the current season.

Bought some Newberry pads and some County gloves. Really really good gear.

That is true.

I myself order my gloves off the net. BAS Gloves, the one that Tendulkar uses/used. I saw him using them in the 2003 WC. Anyway, only costs me about $15 and they last a season

Here's a question not asked a lot do you guys prefer gloves that have a lot of small pieces of protectionGenesis Hurricane

or ones that have just a few big pieces of protection

p.s sorry for my lack of proper grammer

The First Century I ever saw was Heschelle Gibbs' 228 against Pakistan

That's a really good question (i do know what you mean!).  I've always used split knuckle gloves (little bits) - I like the look of them and they feel good.  But recently I acquired a pair of gloves which have the long 'sausage' padding and I've been really pleased with how comfortable they are.  I'm not sure whether they are as protected as the split knuckle ones, and but they certainly looser and more comfy to wear.  Although I do personally prefer the look of the split knuckle gloves though.  The jury is out with me!

I just invested in some Morrant Ultralite Pads.

They were expensive, but absolutely amazing!

Its like you aren't wearing pads!

I have a pair of Diablo Test gloves Youth, I have tiny hands for a 31 year old! But they fit me superbly.  I wear a pair of small men's Morrant Ultralite pads, for thigh protection I use Obo's (now Aero cricket) P1 stripper pants.  When I am on unpredictable minefields I wear Obo chest guard too.  I like my pads/gloves almost skin tight so I dont feel like I am lugging on excessive materials when I am out in the middle.
