The big problem is there is no bowler in this current Indian team who has the quality to play at international level. People like Vijay and Yusuf were doing so well in IPL but struggling in the real game. This also show the quality of IPL.

Rohit Sharma - What the world has seen is gear 1, gear speed 2,3,4,5,7,8,9 to be witnessed in IPL only.

No surprises in ZIM beating India again, Infact I found it surprising that India managed to beat SLN in one of the games. ZIM should win this tournament, they are surely the best among all three teams, and once again Brendon Taylor shows that he is such a fine fine player.

Think my point was proved. India's best strength is not particularly great. Even their batting was shocking. They got undone by 1 medium-fast bowler, 3 spinners and a guy who bowls a few dibbly dobblies (and took 3 wickets doing that). Pretty embarrassing stuff I must say.
Taylor would certainly have to be considered international standard, his batting has always looked very patient and organised. Taibu, Taylor, Blignaut, Masakadza looks a very decent batting set up and a couple of their other players should fair well like C. Ervine and Coventry who got that big 194*.
Bowling wise, I'd like to see them develop a couple more pace bowlers, that's for sure. The return of Sean Ervine would do them wonders as well.
Ideal cricketer: Bowl like Warne, bat like Tendulkar, field like Jonty!!

Another solid performance by the Zimbabweans and pretty poor by the Indians.  Let's hope that this isn't a flash in the pan and that we see Zimbabwe coming back to something approaching a  class outfit once again.

Zimbabwe bowling is covered pretty well by the spinners and the return of a few players has the batting back in a bit of shape.  I think I can finally go back to watching Zimbabwe matches and see some excitement!

Their Spin attack is more than decent and batting is shaping up very nicely too... Sean Ervine is back playing domestic cricket for ZIM I believe and should be selected in the main squad. Fast bowling is a bit of a problem, Blignaut is the only decent pace bowler in their squad.

Chandimal finally showing his class. Now the script for Jayasuriya should be clear. He should retire NOW. Jeewan Mendis has clearly shown he can fill the boots of the spin bowling all rounder.

Randiv has well and truely become SL's ace spinner in ODIs.

Mark my words, he'll beat both Vettori and Swann in ODIs to the top spinner's spot in 2 - 3 years time if he stays injury free.

If I could land a ball on target, mark my words, I'd be a better bowler than Swann and Vettori!

Think we see how good India's bench strength is. So much for the IPL developing young talent.

Zimbabwe have now beaten Lanka by 8 wickets!!! Once again it's Brendon Taylor scoring a magnificent century to guide them home. What a fine player Taylor is!!! as I said earlier, He is a big fish in a small pond! Taibu and Chibhabha also contributing.

Talking about Randiv, I wouldn't say he is srilanka's ace spinner as of now but he surely has been very impressive.

Six matches so far and all the teams batting second won the match.

Zimbabwe won by 6 wickets
India won by 7 wickets
Sri Lanka won by 9 wickets
Zimbabwe won by 7 wickets
Sri Lanka won by 6 wickets
Zimbabwe won by 8 wickets

I hope for Zim cricket sake they win the toss one more time in finals.SL have the ability to win batting first , but I doubt it will be easy for ZIM to lose the toss and win the match.

For cricket sake, I wish ZIM lifts the cup.Go ZIM go

Zimbabwe's advantage of Bangladesh is they seem to be more patient , professional and consistent. When they were at top flight in the late 90s there were no minnows in test cricket. They mightn't have won many matches, but they certainly weren't a walk over. We need Zimbabwe to get back to that level methinks.

Such a disappointment for me that ZIM lost but before the start of the tournament if someone had told them that they'll win 3 of 5 games and make it to the finals, they'd have taken it any day. It was such a joy to see ZIM winning.

Very good performance by Zimbabwe in this tournament and it's good to see.  All good for world cricket - all we need now is for Bangladesh to show this sort of application when batting.
