The games:

Pakistan v New Zealand (1100 GMT) Kingsmead, Durban

Australia v India (1600 GMT) Newlands, Cape Town on Saturday.

Final on Monday (Heritage Day in SA)

Yuvraj and Dhoni will face fitness tests ahead of their match, Shane Watson and Ricky Ponting have been ruled out for Australia.

All three games on Cricket World Radio, of course.

Oooooooooooooooooo, Cape town, I expect whoever wins the toss to bat!

I heard that the 1st semifinal pitch is a top green and little bit dampness in it if this is true than sorry for pakistan. The other semi final I feel that India has a great chance to win it because australia is without their key players.

I think if Australia win's the toss they will bowl because they seem to like chasing down scores in 20/20 and have trouble setting scores.  If Pakistan bat first they will need to get off to a good start, they can't keep relying on the middle-order to save them.

I'll be looking foward to seeing Bondy on a green-top then. I think this game is evenly matched. Both have strong middle orders and decent seamers. Afridi for Pakistan and Vettori for NZ will be the difference.
Good one Graham!

I'll assume this is just you getting your excuses in early, because if anything, a juicy green top should suit Pakistan far more than NZ

New Zeland have made a good start 0/46 off the first 7 overs.

Just as I type Vincent is out, caught and bowled by Alam. Unfortunate that, his six he played early showed signs he could have gone on to get a decent score.

I don't know why but I felt like I was inside of the stadium for the entire match.

In a way, I felt sorry for Aussie players after all those dirty words my father has crack on the team, he was supporting aussie as usual.

Yeah it was pretty good, but the final will be electric. Ive never been to a Pakistan v India game in person, but the atmosphere always looks better than any other clash.

Yeah, something like man utd vs arsenal.
The good thing is these matches between the two don't usually be one sided and that what we want in a final.

The Aussie vs India game was electrifying! Again, Yuvraj was on fire and was practically the difference between the sides. Scoring with a strike rate of 200 and above is fantastic!! Nice gripping stuff, Aussies were in it until those last 3 overs. To me, Aussies tried to slog everyball of the last 3 overs and not try to get ones for the balls that weren't there to slog.
Anyhow, that alone made my weekend! Always bring a smile to my face when the Aussies lose!

Peter Fulton aka 2 metre Peter, forgot how to bat in this form of the game and applied pressure to the likes of Styris, McMillan and Oram to hit out. Taylor played nicely though. I think if we had made another 40 it would've been game on. 165 would've been credible.

Well done Pakistan and India, great achievement by them.

In 1st demi final Pakistan definetly a better side, throughout the tournament the problem with kiwis is their top order, this time their opener gave a good start but in middle they failed to take advantage from good start. umar gul bowled well.
In the second semifinal i think yuvraj is the difference. what a inning played by Yuvraj. He is in great form, just see his timing. Australia had a good chance to win this match but in the end indian bowler bowled well specially bhaji.

Fine effort by the Indians  and Pakistanis in their respective semis. I didn't get to see too much of either game but pals who went to Newlands said India fully deserved their win.
With Jonny making it through 80 minutes and looking something like his old self what's the chances of Australia failing in another big tournament ?

Pretty slim Sledge! You're crazy if you think England's got an chance in the WC! South Africa, on the other hand......though they only just manage to avoid defeat at the hands of my Pacific neighbours.
Good one Graham!
