variations

If it actually comes out at 35mph then the batsman would have time to have lunch in between you bowling and them playing a shot. They would be able to get entirely through their shot and then get back to block it before it reached you. I'd have thought If you bowl about 70 mph(which would be impressive in itself at 13...) then itwould come out about 55mph ish with split fingers. 

Since i dont really consider switching up between normal seam bowling, in and outswing, variation in my bowling the slower ball is my best (im a fast medium bowler) I just leave my wrist cocked back rather than flexing it through as i deliver, just enough change in pace to cause problems.

70mph - i play for Worcestershire and have been stepped up to U16's level

i am a leg spinner, i am of quite slow pace as i like to give it a bit of air. however i have a ball where i scratch my head before my normal run up to let the keeper know to move back. i then run up as normal but with a seamers grip and put my all into it aiming at the stumps. it comes out at a quick pace and normally goes towards the base of leg stump.

That is exactly how I bowl a faster ball but I am an off-spinner. I have the same run-up and i just bowl it quicker with a seam bowlers grip. I aim for a yorker and it really does help when I am bowling at the death of an innings.
