Yes Mojo , but i think Styris , Oram and McMillan were walking wounded and that's no condition to be facing Murali.

Strength in depth has always been a problem for NZ , they're still a small cricketing country (and that's not meant to be condescending) and they've done remarkably well with limited resources.
Compare them with their neighbors , they could send a 2nd side to the WC and almost guarantee another semifinalist , that's how strong they are.

What an opening 4 over burst from Malinga yesterday. It was funny as Fulton and Taylor just got more and more bemused by the ball flying past their outside edges time and time again and even at that very early stage there was no way back for NZ.

The umpires got a few wrong, but what about murali's caught & bowled, disgraceful, certainley lived up to his less than sporting ways.

It looked dodgy in the replays but Oram had the best view of anyone on the planet basically, and he accepted it

I couldn't decide , but I thought the game well beyond NZ by then.

Is one of the umpires English today ? I'd love him to send back Hayden and Ponting with really poor decisions! Wink

Maybe so Mojo , but they can't perform as badly as Koertzen and Taufel did yesterday.

Well, I've got a few hundred quid riding on the Proteas today - but if I lose that it'll all be recovered on Sat with the biggy I have on the Lankans.

Indeed, and I'm parted from it often - fortunately I'm wealthy enough that it matters not, and when I win, I win big.  In fact I'm burning spare cash left over from the National.  No point betting on favourites son, you'll learn over time that those of us who play the game well never waste time picking up dribs and drabs with dead certs.

Don't bother to PM him he'll ignore you there also. And due to the fact he brings up his bank balance on a cricket forum he's obviously out to impress. You have a lot of money? Good on you! I don't care, neither does anyone else.
