Yer, When I spin it too much and I get it in the right area it just spins too much I don't know how to bowl with less spin but sometimes when I bowl flighted deliveries I get half the amount of spin. I also usually get bounce when I bowl spin i've bowled a few bouncers before.

I don't know how much turn I get I don't measure it let's just say most deliveries spin half of the pitch.

AK, I very much doubt that, the only person ive ever seen do that is Stuart MacGill and he is the biggest spinner of the ball in the world so I think you may be exaggerating.

I dont know how much my leggy turns, I can usually turn it from an inch or two outside leg and hit off. I dont know how far that is though.

yeh half the pitch is about 3 and a half foot and thats alot, but if you say you can then fair enough

i myself can turn it a fair bit (not half the pitch like you thoughLOL)
the amount of turn i get depends on the ball and pitch etc.

im happy enough with the amount fo turn i get any way

Oh AK, dont embarass yourself, reading the first few pages of the spin thread you were cocky but recently you've been a really decent bloke so please stay decent. You obviously arent the biggest spinner in the world and nobody can spin it 1 and three quarter metres.

Have you ever seen the Warne-Chanderpaul ball? It spun 2 metres and that is considered to be the biggest spinning abll of all time!! I'm not attacking you for lying but I urge you to tell the truth because it is pointless to say stuff that cant be true.

An inch or two are you serious! I swear on my life per ball I probably spin it about a metre I swear the god I do. Maybe If I can i'll try get my mate to vidoe record me bowling a leggie and I will put it on Youtube to give you proof.

OK fair enough.

I pride myself on my accuracy and my favourite ball is the googly that pitches on off and hits leg. When I get that right it feels great when you catch him leg before.

How does everyone bowl their googly?

im not doubting that you can spin the ball but, saying "im the best under 14 leggy in the world" even if you are, whats the point of saying it?

I just started practising mine not doing a good job of it so far. I think I did bowl it properly once cause the way it came out of my hand and seeing it spin in the air the other direction I thought I got it right but it was a full toss so I didn't get to see if I did it right : (

it is generally considered that being small aids being a spinner

anil kumble is a exception, but then again hes not a massive spinner of the ball

A tall gperson always spins it less because he is unable to get side spin as much as small people. We discussed it somewhere on a thread.

Small will help you spin it, Height will give you bounce, i.e Kumble... or Giles ;-)
