Srikant: One of the most unpredictable players the game ever saw.
Afridi: Probably the most 'pure slogger' and a very powerful stroke maker.
Lance Klusner: Great hitter
Andrew Symonds: He is very aggressive
Sanath Jayasuriya: Was a pure slogger in the world cup that Srilanka won. Then he matured into a very good batsman.

I love how in these threads "ever" generally seems to equate to the last 10 years

true....... thats why i disregard the "ever" as i can only give most of my knowledge from the past 10 years

i'd imagine that Viv richards, Clive Lloyd and Graeme Pollock would be up there though..

Hussey's good at hitting fours but not the big shots. He once hit 4 fours in an over!

Consistency is the key.

I would like to say either Afridi or Klusener from the modern day form of cricket. Both brilliant bats who can take any side apart.

Brett Lee can slog, but also defend as he showed in last years Ashes to save the Old Trafford match. He is a very good player to have, very useful as he is great with bat and ball (though ball more obviously so)
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

If this is "The best Slogger EVER" Then you can't forget Sober's six sixes. He was actually caught on the fifth ball but the guy fell over the boundary line!
