true ,,,shrikant was the man who showed the world to hit the ball in air ,,,he was the first one to be very very aggressive .... but the fact was ,, he was getting old ...like inzy now ... the same end will come to inzy this year |

You're cursing Inzamam? That's sad. That's pathetic. You make me sick.
I hope only Indian players end their career in the amazing way that shrikant did...at the hands of a Pakistani legend.

On current form Muhammad Asif is the most feared bowler, with his 17 top class wickets he is a force in cricket, the amazing thing about his wickets is that mostly these were of batsmen with good techniques, and most were bowled or LBW, or caught behind, all comprehensive wickets for a fast bowler. |

Great thread topic! Warne is pretty relentless with his appeals and he really seems to be a 'good' sledger too. As for scaring the batsmen, well it has to come down to Lee and Akhtar. I think since Lee came back (a few years ago) from injury, he has been much more of a strategic bowler. Whereas Akhtar still has that raw animal instinct. Akhtar seems to get in moods where he really hates the batsmen, and for this reason I feel he is more fearsome. Like was said about Mike Tyson 'he hits with bad intentions', well one could surely say similar things about Akhtar... only, he bowls with bad intentions! (God he is a great player...) |

Is it something similar to the infamous body line happening again, well I know a few fast bowlers love to see blood on the pitch!

Lee (pace, aggression, swing), Akhtar (pace, aggresion) and McGrath (mental aggression, guile, accuracy, movement, natural wicket taking ability) when it comes to pace..
Warne (we all know why) and Murali (we all know why) when it comes to spin..
Bowlers liek Ntini, S.Jones and Bond are deadly too but the latter two are too injury prone. Edited by MiNiWaRnEy |

In fast bowlers world there is few.LEE,SHOIB,BOND looks dangourous. But Lasith Malinga is REALLY DANGOUROUS than others coz is very unothodox action. It s hard to pick up.Also he bowls with 145-150 easily in sub continan.GILCRIST says he is very hard to paly.remember he is NO.01 batsmen @ present. |

I guess Kevin Pieterson is one of the best bowlers in the world! He got Harbhajan bowled in his 2nd ball of ODI cricket! Similar to Warne!
