Who is the most feared bowler

I think Lee must be for the sustained pace and also fact that he has been proned to bowl beamers. I would hate to face him with wet ball.

Are we talking feared by pace or ability as I would scared stiff of Murali or Warne on a five day old pitch.

You still haven't a feel for the difference between pitch conditions and that of tests and one day cricket.

I guarantee that Brett Lee will bowl CONSISTENTLY over 90 mph in EVERY innings of the test series!! If conditions are ideal , expect a ball approaching 100 mph.

Harmison , Flintoff and Mahmood will all top 90mph as well , but not as often as Lee.

Lee has never crossed 96 miles, and him reaching 100 is going to be very difficult, and during the Champions Trophy.

Bond is an underrated bowler, partly because he was overshadowed by the likes of McGrath, Ntini, Pollock, Akhtar, and most importantly Lee. The were better than him and also the fact that he was out of the team because of injury when he was coming up spoilt his chances even more. Plus New Zealand haven't played much cricket this year, so even if he was fit, there would've been no chance for him to make an impact.

100 has been touched only by Akhtar mate.

Bond is no where near Lee according to me. Lee has been consistently performing and is one of the world's best bowlers today.

Lee may have touched 99, but not 100.

It does show how bad pacers are today, but Lee isn't all that bad. He is actually very good, but compared to the bowlers who can be compared to him (the ones who played from 1995-2000 were much better than him).

Lee got to 99.7mph during the Ashes last year during the 5th Test at The Oval.

But the current lot will be never equal to West Indian Roy Gilchist. The most menancing and ill tempered fast bowler of the history. Blood on the pitch, that's what he liked.

I wouldn't call Shoib a chucker yorker101, his action is legal.

In the current cricketers Ntini has been the most feared bowler, for his speed and very effective short pitched deliveries, any doubts ask any pakistani or lankan batsmen!

If anyone remembers Justin Langer's 100th test against South Africa the first ball he faced was a bouncer from Ntini. Hit Langer in the haed. He was unconcious and didn't play any more. Poor guy on his 100th Test too. However Ntini is a feared bowler

Makhaya Ntini isn't the most feared bowler i feel,the way Gayle balterd him in the Icc trophy,Ntini looked like an ordinary bowler.its just a matter of fact that he has bowled Quick and fast and bouncy deliveries only on Bouncy tracks.

I dont think there is any bower in present game who is most feared,i said its Shoaib but hes been banned.

A bowler from which all the batsmen feels fear should be the most feared bowler and i dont think there is any one in modern cric.Even Kaneria go for a hook against Jerome Taylor who bowled 140+ kph. MC Grath is the most feared bowler i feel.
