i would say yuvraj because he has always been more consistent and he is in amazing form right now. i think that he should become vice-captain and not sehwag. many people might go against this but i feel the Yuvraj will become a much better player than sehwag soon.

Yes Yuvraj has been outstanding in the india vs pak series with the bat and in the field more importantly with the bat

Yuvraj Singh is certainly a fine young player. I'm sure he'll become better than Sehwag. He's already got a better technique than Sehwag.

All he'll have to do is improve his technique against quality spin.

I agree that yuvraj is a very fine player, but you cannot say that sehwag is of any less quality. His technique may not be so good, but he is a great player for india and he has done so much. Just because yuvraj is finding his touch you cannot say that he should take over the role of vice-captian. Sehway has much more experience and i think that he would make a better captian the yuvi. I like them both as equally as good, but i don't think that they should be compared. They may be both attacking but one opens and the other finishes. They play different roles for the team and they are both sucessful. Even if one is more successful than the other, i think that india would suffer without either of them.

Correct. Yuvraj and Sehwag have had almost equal experience though. I am talking about the current moment. Yuvraj would be more valuable to lose than Sehwag especially against Pakitan. We COULD have lost the series if it wasn't for him. Dravid might have saved us in some games.

come on guys, yuvraj is in better nick now. When sehwag gets back in nick it will be trouble for all the teams. Sehwags is much better than yuvraj. In the odi's, his main objective is to get them off to a flyer. Can't you all realise this. Why do you think he is so good in the tests, because his objectives are to makes runs now and not to make a flyer. Sehwag has his seasons for form. Between november and april is when he is a run machine. after that, he is worth dropping for yuvraj.(kidding with the dropping part guys)

Sehwag has been an outstanding, aggressive player for a heck of alot longer than Yuvraj, and still is one of the world's most feared batsmen in the same way he was when he first introduced this newly found fire in the openers a long time ago. Sure, Yuvraj has potential, but Sehwag has shown he is brilliant so we have proof he is amazing. Sehwag is better, end of discussion.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Not the end of the diccusion. If I compare Dravid with Sehwag, all of you'll will say that Dravid is better, or atleast the majority of you'll because he stands for longer and saves the team. Yuvraj does the same thing often, and he did only that against Pakistan. Yuvraj is also very dangerous when he is on fire. Maybe you are right. Sehwag might be better than Yuvraj when is in form. Yuvraj is more consisten, which is more important. Both can be said as equal also as they have different roles. Both can bowl well too. Sehwag forms lasts mostly upto March more then April. To tell the truth, both are equal and depends on opinon. I would fight for Yuvraj because Iprefer him to Sehwag. Spin wizard might fight for Sehwag because he prefers him.

dravid fan- about spending time in the crease, kaif and dravid will do that as well as laxman and the little master. Sehwag gives the bowlers more time to win the match if you no what i mean. sehwag is exciting to watch, it doesn't make sense make 200 of 500 ball when you can do it in 300 and get things over with.
