Some A tours would do both sides a world of good. The signs are decent at the moment, if they get better, it would only do world Cricket good.

ZIM get bowled out for 44 which happens to be the 3rd lowest total in the history of ODI cricket. (if I'm not wrong). BAN chased it down but not before losing 4 wickets themselves.
quite an amazing track that but nonetheless, huge win for BAN and they wrap up the series 3-1 with one more game to play.
BAN have clearly shown here that they are way ahead among all the minnow nations and that too by some margin. They have also shown that any 2nd string side like that of the WI they faced earlier, cannot beat them either. Good signs for Bangladesh cricket.

It has got to be the 4th I guess. Pakistan made 43 against West Indies some 15-16 years back.
BD still lost 4 wickets chasing down 45. I must say it is Shakib who is saving their grace - he is their version of Vettori.

Dead right about Zuzu's statement with regard to Shakib. He is their Vettori, no doubt about it. Top young bloke. Getting all the wickets, runs and captaining. They'll make him a selector soon . I think he should retain the captaincy when Mortaza comes back, it's doing him the world of good.

Didn't get to watch the match but as the scorecard suggests it didn't sound like an exciting match. But it is good to see we got the win and have claimed the series.
Shakib has the done an exceptional job as captain in this series, he has really held our team together.

I'm really dissapointed at Zimbabwe's performance, they seem to be outdoing themselves. The 35 all out they scored was five years ago when they had a really unsettled side. I thought they would have improved since then but to score 44 all out is bordering on the embarrassing
Does anyone know what was a par score on that pitch. I know 44 all out was way under par but a score of 150 may have been competitive.

Maybe a bit lesser but certainly 130 was just about par. BD would not have scored any more than 130 (maybe only 44 without Shakib).

Taylor makes his maiden Int'l ton and pushes Zim from 7/113 to 220. Not a bad effort!

118 n.o by Brendon Taylor to help Zimbabwe reach 221/9 in their 50 overs in the 5th and final ODI. The more I see of this man, the more I'm impressed... Brendon Taylor is a Big fish in a small pond!

Things are on the up for the Zimbos - the return of Streak has uplifted the side and them getting paid on time helps as well !

Just need to find two decent fast bowlers. How they wish they have Blignaut back.

I wrote earlier in this thread Zuzu. He stopped playing and now they are trying to lure him back to play club cricket in Zim after he spent a few years in RSA working with the family and not playing much cricket. He's 31, still enough time left in him.

would you believe it BAN win by 1 wicket, Naeem Islam scoring 73 coming in at No. 8!!! That just goes to show what depth BAN have now and the confidence with which they are playing! The cruise to their 3rd straight ODI series win!
I feel really bad for ZIM though, they played much better than that 4-1 scoreline. Nonetheless, they have shown good signs the Zimbabweans and hopefully they'll perform well in their upcoming ODI series against the mighty South Africans.

For sure they won't lose 5-0 to SAF - maybe because they are only due to play three games.
