Aaron Hamilton, Head Coach of the Ireland Women's team, spoke about the Zimbabwe tour so far:

“The 50-over games pretty much speak for themselves, we split it 50-50. We struggled in the first game, and looked like we hadn't played cricket for a while, but the [team] came back in the second game and executed a lot of our plans. It was a shame the third one was called off due to rain, because I think we would've taken things a step further in the game.”

“As for today's T20, it was a bit disappointing - a change of format and we looked a bit sluggish. It was great bowling at the back end with Isobel Joyce and Cara Murray getting us back into the contest. We've been very impressed with Cara, the way she handled herself for a young leg-spinner and I hope she kicks on."
