Afghanistan have named a 14-man squad for the Intercontinental Cup final against Scotland, which begins in Dubai on 2nd December.
Narwoz Mangal will captain the side for the five-day match which ends the competition which began in 2009 and included seven teams with the two finalists also playing against fellow Associate nations Canada, Kenya, reigning champions Ireland, the Netherlands as well as a Zimbabwe XI.
For the first time since 2005, Ireland will not be competing in the final following a run of three straight victories.
Afghanistan beat Scotland by 229 runs in the group match between the two sides in August.
