Bangladesh batsman Aftab Ahmed has been ruled out of the upcoming Tri-Nation One Day International series involving India and Pakistan after he fractured a finger in a training session.

He will also miss the Asia Cup, which begins on June 24th in Pakistan with Alok Kapali called up to replace him in both squads.

Aftab, 22, has struggled for both form and fitness in the last year, missing the One Day International series against South Africa after he was hit on the head by a Jacques Kallis bouncer earlier this year.

The Tri-Nation tournament begins on June 8th with Bangladesh playing Pakistan in Mirpur.
