Trinbago Knight Riders 120 (Parnell 3-31) by 16 runs

Wayne Parnell scored a valiant 44 runs and picked a three wicket haul as well to help Barbados Tridents register a 19 run victory over Trinbago Knight Riders in the 29th match of Caribbean Premier League at Kensington Oval.
Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl first. Anderson Phillip (1-35) struck in the second ball of the innings to dismiss Dwayne Smith (0) while Javon Searles (1-18) accounted for Kane Williamson (6) in the second over.
Barbados also lost Nicholas Pooran (19) and Eoin Morgan (2) in the powerplay by the end of which they placed 43 for four. Shadab Khan (2-13) further dented Barbados' momentum as he removed Kieron Powell (17), Christopher Barnwell (8) and also effected the run out of Akeal Hosein (2).
Just as the innings were reeling at 62 for seven, knocks from Shamar Springer (21) and Parnell (44) helped them post 136 for nine in the 20 overs.
In the chase, Sunil Narine (9), Colin Munro (2), Darren Bravo (4) and Denesh Ramdin (8) fell cheaply while Brendon McCullum (26) had to retire hurt following a 19 ball knock.
Despite knocks from Dwayne Bravo (22) and Searles (29), Knight Riders managed only 120 before they were bowled out in 18.2 overs.
