Sri Lanka Women 122-9 by seven runs
Second Twenty20 International, Barbados

Stafanie Taylor scored a half-century and then took three wickets as the West Indies Women beat Sri Lanka Women by seven runs in the second Twenty20 International in Barbados.

Taylor's 62 set up the home team's score of 129 for four and she then took three for 23 as Sri Lanka closed on 122 for nine in reply, and a 2-0 series deficit with three matches to play.

Taylor faced 49 balls to score her runs and she was supported by Juliana Nero's 29 and Shemaine Campbelle scored an unbeaten 22.

Chandimala Gunaratne took two wickets for Sri Lanka while Chamani Seneviratne and Sandamali Dolowatte took one apiece.

Sri Lanka fought hard in reply despite losing openers Prasadani Werakkody (6) and Yashodha Mendis (2) cheaply as Deepika Rasangika made 39 and Inoka Galagedara 25.

However, once Rasangika was bowled by Taylor and Galagedara was run out by Deandra Dottin, the West Indies regained control of the match.

Taylor finished things off with the wickets of Sripali Weerakkody (7) and Dolowatte (0).
