Allett Mowers

British manufacturer, Allett, produces a range of top quality walk-behind cylinder mowers suitable for the care and maintenance of cricket grounds.

Ideal for outfields, the Allett 36in and 42in Regal machines offer high work rates, a superb finish and remarkably easy operation enhanced by the inclusion of power steering and hydrostatic drive, the latter allowing the operator to select infinitely-variable forward and reverse speeds. Both mowers can be equipped with an optional trailed seat.

Allet Mowers

Allett also produces first-class machines for use on cricket squares and wickets. Available in 20in and 24in cut widths, the Shaver and Tournament fine cut mowers both have 10-bladed cutting cylinders and two-piece aluminium rear rollers. The Tournament incorporates a powered turf groomer as standard while the Shaver has a two-position front roller enabling a turf brush to be fitted in front of the cutting cylinder.

For ground staff requiring a multi-purpose machine for cricket squares, the Allett C20 and C24 grass maintenance system can be equipped with a range of interchangeable cartridge heads including a 10-bladed cutting unit (with or without a groomer), a six-bladed cutting unit, a scarifier, slitter, verticutter, sorrel roller and brush.
