Rowe suffered a displaced fracture to her left thumb during England's opening Twenty20 International against the West Indies at Old Trafford.

Rowe will undergo surgery today and has been ruled out of the tournament, which begins on 26th September. England's first game is against Pakistan on 27th September.

Jones has played 16 Twenty20 matches for Warwickshire and the Emeralds, scoring 299 runs at 21.35 and also offers another wicket-keeping option to England's squad.
