Anderson And Hodge Join Flintoff And Mahmood At Old Trafford

Lancashire’s Cricket Attendant has been working overtime the past couple of days, as trio Andrew Flintoff, Sajid Mahmood and James Anderson reported for training after returning from the Caribbean.

The Trio spent Monday at the National Cricket Centre in Loughborough, meeting with new England Cricket Manager, Peter Moores. Following fitness tests and medical reviews on the same day, the ECB has since notified Lancashire, that all three players are available for both Friends Provident Trophy matches over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Bank Holiday fixtures:

Sunday 6th May: Lancashire Lightning V Northants at Old Trafford, play starts at 10:45am

Monday 7th May: Durham Dynamos V Lancashire Lightning at Chester-le-Street

World Cup Winner, Brad Hodge also arrived in Manchester today, and will start training with the Club from tomorrow. He will be available to play against Northants this Sunday and will then be part of the Lancashire set up for the remainder of the season.

Cricket Manager Mike Watkinson will wait until later in the week before announcing his squad for these fixtures, but all four World Cup representatives will feature in at least one match each.
