Fresh from winning a hat-trick of titles on the field in 2013, Cricket Ireland are celebrating a 2014 hat-trick after winning three awards in the Pepsi ICC Development Programme.
They were named the winners of awards for 'Best Cricket Promotion and Marketing', 'Best Women's Cricket Initiative' and 'Lifetime Service'.
They won the Best Cricket Promotion and Marketing award for their marketing campaign ahead of the Ireland-England One-Day International at Malahide, which saw more than 10,000 people attend and was broadcast globally.
The Best Women's Cricket Initiative award was won for the Girls and Women's Cricket participation programme in the North of Ireland. The Ulster Development Initiative has seen huge successes at all levels and has now been recognised.
Mary Sharp, who has served as President of Pembroke Cricket Club and as the Honorary Secretary of the Leinster Cricket Union, won the Lifetime Service award for her dedication to cricket in Ireland over a number of years.
Meanwhile, Cricket Scotland won the Best Overall Development award for their efforts in a number of areas including senior, junior and women's cricket as well as coaching and umpire development.
The Dutch cricket board won the Best Junior Participation Initiative after their promotion of the sport in Schiedam and the Best Spirit Of Cricket award was won by Guernsey.
