England have omitted fast bowler James Anderson from the team to face the Stanford Superstars in Saturday's $20 million match in Antigua.

Anderson joins Alastair Cook, Ravi Bopara and Ryan Sidebottom as the players to miss out, with captain Kevin Pietersen opting to include spinner Graeme Swann alongside Nottinghamshire team mate Samit Patel.

"We haven't played a second spinner for I don't know how long but unfortunately conditions have meant Jimmy (Anderson) has to miss out," Pietersen said on the English Cricket Board (ECB) website (www.ecb.co.uk) on Friday.

England: Kevin Pietersen (capt), Ian Bell, Stuart Broad, Paul Collingwood, Andrew Flintoff, Steve Harmison, Samit Patel, Matt Prior (wk), Owais Shah, Graeme Swann, Luke Wright.
