England and Nottinghamshire off-spinner Graeme Swann has joined Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson as an injury doubt ahead of the fifth and final Ashes Test.
Swann revealed via his Twitter page this morning that he was feeling unwell and it was confirmed later in the day by Nottinghamshire CCC that he would be playing no part in their LV County Championship match against Warwickshire due to a stomach bug.
Although Flintoff and Anderson both received clear scans yesterday, the pair will still have to manage their knee and hamstring injuries respectively ahead of the Test at The Oval, which begins on 20th August.
The series is level at 1-1 and Swann was due to be one of five contracted players to be released for county duty along with Alastair Cook, Ravi Bopara, Ian Bell and Graham Onions.
