England are 3/1 to play two spinners when they take on Australia in the third Ashes Test at Old Trafford according to Ladbrokes.

Monty Panesar has been included in a 14-man squad for the third Test, which begins on Thursday 1st August and bookmakers are taking bets on how many spinners will play for England.

The odds on either Swann or Panesar, but not both, being selected are 1/4.

Meanwhile, England are 10/11 favourites for the match with the draw being backed in to 5/2 from 13/8 and Australia outsiders at 9/2.

Alex Donohue, cricket betting expert at Ladbrokes, said: "At this stage we'd be surprised if both spinners were used.

As far as the Test is concerned, weather-watchers have been keen on the draw which we're looking to keep on our side."
