Coach Trent Johnston says that Ireland Women 'can't be any more prepared' as they build up to their opening match of the ICC Women's Twenty20 in Bangladesh against New Zealand.
He says the team has trained 'very well' and they took a lot out of their warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and India.
New Zealand will present a huge challenge however, after the White Ferns beat reigning champions Australia by seven runs in the opening game of the tournament.
Johnston is confident that his team will be able to compete with two of the world's best sides and hopes that his own World Cup experience can help inspire a team making their tournament debut.
Ireland play New Zealand tomorrow (25th March) in Sylhet and will also play Australia (27th March), South Africa (29th March) and Pakistan (31st March).
