Australia have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their ICC Champions Trophy semi-final victory over England at Centurion.

International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee Jeff Crowe ruled that Ricky Ponting's team, which went on to win the match by nine wickets, were two overs short of their target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

As such, Ponting has been fined 20 percent of his match fee and the remaining players were fined ten percent of their match fee.

The ICC has also announced that Aleem Dar and Ian Gould will be the standing umpires for Monday's Champions Trophy final when Australia take on New Zealand at Centurion.
