Australia have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their 24-run win over India in the fourth One-Day International in Mohali.

The victory ensured that the series is level at 2-2 heading to the fifth match in Hyderabad on 5th November but Ricky Ponting's side were ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into account.

In line with the ICC Code of Conduct, Ponting was fined 20 percent of his match fee while the rest of his players received fines of ten percent.

The other remaining matches are in Guwahati on 8th November and Mumbai on 11th November.
