Australia Women made it four wins out of four in India as they took a 29-run victory in the first Twenty20 International in Visakhapatnam.

Jess Cameron scored 67 as Australia made 138 for four before India Women closed on 109 for eight with Harmanpreet Kaur scoring 57.

Cameron followed up a half-century in the final One-Day International with 67 in 50 balls, hitting six fours and two sixes after Meg Lanning had struck 34 in 45 balls.

India then lost three wickets for 42 runs in reply and although Kaur hit 57 in 48 balls, she played a lone hand.

Off-spinner Lisa Sthalekar took three for 17 by dismissing Mithali Raj (11), Kaur and then Veda Krishnamurthy (2).

Julie Hunter, Erin Osborne and Ellyse Perry took a wicket apiece.

The second of five Twenty20 Internationals is on 19th March.
