Australia's only planned warm-up match ahead of the three-Test series in South Africa has been cancelled due to bad weather in Potchefstroom.
They were set to take on a South African Invitational XI from 5th February but heavy rain has disrupted their training and the forecast is for the rain to continue.
The Australians will now travel to Johannesburg and practice at Centurion Park, venue for the first Test from 12th February, tomorrow (4th February).
"Cricket South Africa (CSA) and Cricket Australia (CA) have reached a collaborative decision to cancel Australia's four-day warm-up match against a South Africa Invitational XI scheduled from 5-8 February in Potchefstroom," a CSA statement read.
"There has been torrential rain in the area over the last few days which has hampered the squad's training, with the forecast for the coming days also looking gloomy.
"Australia will travel to Johannesburg today, and are scheduled to have practice at SuperSport Park in Centurion tomorrow morning."
