Australia 189-8 (Warner 51, D Hussey 49) beat
Windward Islands 88 (Clarke 2-6) by 101 runs
ICC World Twenty20 warm-up, Saint Lucia

David Warner smashed 51 and David Hussey made 49 as Australia handed the Windward Islands a 101-run thrashing as part of their preparations for the ICC World Twenty20.

Despite the Windwards fielding Nathan Hauritz, Tim Paine and Daniel Christian, they were dismissed for 88 in reply to Australia's 189 for eight.

Also in the runs for Australia were captain Michael Clarke (30) and Cameron White (24) as Mervin Matthew took three wickets.

Shaun Tait, Clarke and Stephen Smith then returned two wickets apiece as the Windwards failed to mount a challenge with the bat.

Christian and wicket-keeper Lindon James both scored 20, the latter unbeaten, as Australia put behind them their one-run defeat at the hands of Zimbabwe in their first warm-up match.
