Azhar Mahmood To Miss Another Game For Surrey

Surrey will again have to make do without Azhar Mahmood for their LV County Championship Division One clash with Sussex at Hove.

The Pakistan all-rounder is still being troubled by the back injury that has prevented his taking part in the previous two games and it is unclear when he will be fit.

Ian Salisbury is fit to play after a stomach upset and will replace Chris Schofield as Richard Clinton comes in at the expense of James Benning.

The 13-man squad also includes Mohammad Akram having been dropped from the draw with Warwickshire, which ended a run of three defeats.

"Hopefully we've turned things around a little bit after a poor start to the season,'' coach Alan Butcher told www.ecb.co.uk.

"There was certainly no complacency in how we've gone about things this season after winning the Second Division last year - it's more to do with us not playing as well as we can.''
