The city of Bangalore, India, is the destination where blind cricketers from nine countries around the world will gather from 1st to 13th December 2012, for the first ever World Twenty20 cricket tournament for the blind. 
 
The teams involved are: Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
 
The opening ceremony will take place on 1st December while the preliminary phase of the tournament will see India play Australia and England in the two opening matches of the tournament. In this phase of the tournament, there will be four matches per day - two at each of the venues allocated.

The semi-finals will be played on 12th December, with the final on 13th December.
 
A number of past and present Indian top cricketers have pledged their support to this tournament. Nepal will be the only team to have two female players in their line up.
