Bangladesh have added left-arm spinner Elias Sunny to their squad for the final two One-Day Internationals against West Indies in Mirpur.

Bangladesh raced into a 2-0 series lead in Khulna but have been pegged back as West Indies, inspired by four wickets from their spinner Sunil Narine, won the third game by four wickets.

Bangladesh are 12/5 with bet365 to win the fourth ODI on Friday (7th December) with West  Indies 1/3.

Sunny has played three Tests, two One-Day Internationals and seven Twenty20 Internationals, taking three wickets in his ODI career to date which comprised two matches against Pakistan in December 2011.

In the first of those he took one for 46 in seven overs but took two for 36 in nine overs in the second game.

In domestic cricket this season, he has been in decent form with 10 wickets in first-class cricket at an average of 29.60 although he not played a one-day game since his recentmost ODI.

The West Indies won their first match since triumphing at the ICC World Twenty20 but were pushed hard by Bangladesh before running out the victors by 18 runs in Mirpur. Marlon Samuels thumped nine sixes in an innings of 85 that led the West Indies to 197 for four before Bangladesh, inspired by Tamim Iqbal's 88 not out, closed on 179 for one.
Despite failing to chase 212 yesterday, Bangladesh managed, just about, to chase six more than that today to win an absorbing five-match series against the West Indies by three games to two. They lost regular wickets throughout their run chase and it was left to number ten Elias Sunny to partner Nasir Hossain when the winning boundary was hit. Shafiul Islam had earlier made the most of his first chance of the series, taking three for 31, as the West Indies batsmen again struggled.
When West Indies went two-nil down to Bangladesh just five days ago there were again calls in some quarters for their captain Darren Sammy's head. However, less than a week later Sammy has played a starring role in helping West Indies level the series. His unbeaten 60 from number eight allowed the West Indies to recover from more spin-induced woes to post a competitive total, while his first-over double-strike provided the hosts with a setback from which they never recovered.

The series was Bangladesh's for the taking before the third One-Day International in Mirpur began, but, thanks to Marlon Samuels and Sunil Narine, West Indies live to fight another day. Narine finally found some of the magic that he had been missing on the tour so far and took four for 37 to help restrict the hosts to a modest total, while Samuels hit a century to help steady West Indies' shaky run chase.
West Indies coach Ottis Gibson expects his side to produce an improved performance in the third One-Day International against Bangladesh in Mirpur tomorrow (5th December). His side trail 2-0 in the five-match series after Bangladesh won the opening two matches by seven wickets and 160 runs respectively.
