Bangladesh served further notice of their strength at home as they dismantled Canada to take a convincing nine-wicket victory in a 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup warm-up match in Chittagong.
Tamim Iqbal blasted 69 in 50 balls as Bangladesh raced to 113 for one after having bowled Canada out for just 112.
Bangladesh needed just 37.3 overs to end Canada's innings, in which Ashish Bagai top scored 30 as Shafiul Islam (2-5) and Nazmul Hossain (2-42) made the early inroads.
Captain and left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan then returned three for five while off-spinner Mahmudullah grabbed two for nine.
Iqbal then smashed seven fours and three sixes to send Bangladesh on their way to victory, which was completed in 19.3 overs with Imrul Kayes unbeaten on 39 and Junaid Siddique on one.
