Second One-Day International, Chittagong

Bangladesh won a low-scoring second One-Day International against Pakistan by three wickets to take a 2-0 series win in Chittagong.

Just two Pakistanis reached double figures as they were bowled out for 87 in 46.1 overs before Bangladesh reached 88 for seven to take victory in 34.5 overs.

Nain Abidi made 28 and captain Sana Mir 18 for Pakistan as Shohely Akhtar (3-13), Panna Ghosh (2-9), Lata Mondal (2-15) and Rumana Ahmed (2-21) kept things tight and took wickets for Bangladesh.

Shohely dismissed Nida Dar, Qanita Jalil and Asmavia Iqbal for ducks to hasten Pakistan's demise.

However, they did not go down without a fight, forcing Bangladesh to scrap for their runs.

Ayasha Rahman made 29 and Farzana Haque 18 after Shamima Sultana (5) had fallen early before Bangladesh slipped from 50 for one to 63 for four.

Mondal made 16 to take Bangladesh closer to the win before they lost three wickets with the scores level as she, Rumana (1) and Sanjida Islam (0) were dismissed.

Two balls later, the winning runs came with Nuzhat Tasnia unbeaten on one and Panna looking from the non-striker's end.

Sana Mir returned figures of four for 26.
