Bangladesh rounded off the One-Day International series in Zimbabwe with a comprehensive 93-run win in the fifth and final match in Bulawayo.

They reached a score of 253 for six before dismissing Zimbabwe for 160 to claim a second straight win although Zimbabwe took the series 3-2.

Captain Shakib Al Hasan led the way for Bangladesh by making 79 while Mahmudullah hit 60 and Tamim Iqbal 45 before Ray Price returned three for 51.

Mahmudullah then completed a fine all-round game by taking three for 13 as only four Zimbabweans reached double figures in reply.

Malcolm Waller made 51, Vusi Sibanda 34, Hamilton Masakadza 28 and Forster Mutiza 27 as their batting failed to fire collectively on a slow pitch that suited Bangladesh more than the pitches for the first three games of the series in Harare.

Zimbabwe sparked joyous scenes among the crowd in Harare by holding their nerve to pull off a five-run win over Bangladesh in the third One-Day International that put them into an unassailable 3-0 series lead. They were almost denied by Mushfiqur Rahim's maiden ODI century but he was the last man to be dismissed, caught at long-on going for the winning hit, as Bangladesh were dismissed for 245 in reply to Zimbabwe's 250 for seven.

Vitori, Sibanda, Taibu Clinch Win For Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe moved into a 2-0 series lead over Bangladesh with a seven-wicket victory in the second of five One-Day Internationals in Harare. Batting first, Bangladesh were dismissed for 188, once again enduring a terrible start as Brian Vitori followed up one five-wicket haul on debut with another, returning five for 25 as the tourists were reduced to 58 for six in the 19th over.

Sibanda And Vitori On Song As Zimbabwe Win

Brian Vitori marked his debut with a five-wicket haul and Vusi Sibanda scored 96 as Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh by four wickets in the first One-Day International in Harare. Left-arm seamer Vitori returned five for 30 as Bangladesh were bowled out for 184 and Sibanda anchored Zimbabwe's reply as they chased down their target in 41.2 overs.

Nafees Targets ODI Series Win For Bangladesh

Bangladesh batsman Shahriar Nafees believes that his side can put behind them their disappointing 130-run defeat in the Test match against Zimbabwe and win the One-Day International series. With the team now fully focussed on the upcoming three-match series, that begins on 12th August in Harare, Nafees is looking for a stronger all-rounder performance.
