Mortaza made the allegations against him prior to the start of the Bangladesh Premier League, claiming that he had been approached by the 36 year-old with a spot-fixing offer.
Bangladesh bounced back from their mauling at the hands of Richie Berrington yesterday to record a comfortable victory over the Netherlands in Voorburg as their tour of northern Europe continued. Tamim Iqbal ended unbeaten on 69 as they chased down the home side's total of 144 for seven with two overs to spare.
A team of Bangladesh Members of the Parliament headed by Nazmul Hassan MP visited London to play a friendly cricket match with British Members of the Parliament, winning their one-day game by 47 runs.
