The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to send batsman Rajin Saleh to join up with the touring party in New Zealand as cover for injured Tushar Imran.

Imran sat out the second warm up match against the Northern Knights with a sore shoulder and is almost certain to miss the opening two one-day internationals against New Zealand.

Saleh has played 43 one-day internationals and 22 Tests for his country, scoring one hundred and six half-centuries in ODI cricket.

Saleh will arrive in New Zealand on December 24th, becoming the second replacement player to be called up after Sajidul Islam, who replaces Syed Rasel.
