The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan to play two limited overs internationals in Lahore later this month.
A One-Day International is scheduled for 29th April and the Twenty20 International will take place one day later.
Bangladesh will become the first ICC Full Member to tour Pakistan since terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan convoy in 2009, killing six policemen, two civilians, and injuring cricketers and match officials.
"The public of Pakistan have been deprived of cricket and we felt that we needed to support them," Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Mustafa Kamal said.
"The reception we received when we toured Lahore and Karachi on our security visit was overwhelming."
Zaka Ashraf, the PCB chairman, added, "I want to thank the BCB and the Bangladesh Government for their support for this tour."
