Bangladesh 31-0 v West Indies - no result, rain
Twenty20 International, St Kitts
Scorecard

The Twenty20 International between the West Indies and Bangladesh in St Kitts was abandoned after just 4.4 overs of play due to rain and a wet outfield.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Bangladesh had made a steady start and were 31 without loss in the fifth over.

Tamim Iqbal had made 11 in nine balls and Anamul Haque hit the day's only six and was not out on 19 in as many deliveries when the players left the field.

Heavy rain then set in and although it would eventually stop, the ground was too wet for play to resume, and problems with the floodlights also prevented a resumption.

The two sides will now begin preparations for a two-Test series, the first of which begins on 5th September in St Vincent.
