Ben Scott's Exclusive Interview - Selection for England

Middlesex wicket-keeper Ben Scott has just been called up to the England Lionssquad to tour New Zealand.  He took time out from some DIY at home to join us on Cricket World Radio to tell us more about his selection.

As his winter plans have changed, from DIY and Abu Dhabi with Middlesex to the  five weeks in New Zealand, he explained the cancelled holiday, Valentine’s Day departure and not touring Abu Dhabi.

It was an interesting year with Middlesex the T20 win and the Antiguan tour. Ben talked about what he looked forward to when playing cricket in another new-to-him country.

Middlesex CCC themselves have a new man at the helm, ex-England and Middlesex stalwart, Angus Fraser and Ben looked at the team’s targets for 2009.

To conclude Ben spoke of some well-known cricketers player that have helped to shape his game.
