West Indian left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn has been fined the entirety of his match fee by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) after an incident in the fourth One-Day International against South Africa in Dominica.

The board, which has decided to make no changes to the squad ahead of the fifth and final match in Trinidad on Thursday (3rd June), issued the following statement:

"The Management Group of the West Indies Team met with Sulieman Benn late on Monday in relation to an on-field incident during the 4th Digicel One-Day International against South Africa on Sunday, May 30 at Windsor Park, Dominica.

"Following the discussion, Benn accepted a fine of 100 percent of his match fee and the matter was closed."

Benn was effectively ordered from the field of play by captain Chris Gayle during the fourth ODI, which the West Indies went on to lose to go 4-0 down in the series.

West Indies squad: Chris Gayle (captain), Dwayne Bravo (vice-captain), Dale Richards, Travis Dowlin, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Darren Bravo, Narsingh Deonarine, Darren Sammy, Kieron Pollard, David Bernard, Denesh Ramdin, Sulieman Benn, Jerome Taylor, Ravi Rampaul
