Furness thrashed Lindal Moor by 100 runs to maintain their position at the top of the North Lancashire and Cumbria Premier Division.
They now have 247 points from 16 matches but Cockermouth (225) kept them within range by beating Keswick by five wickets.
Cleator, in third place with 208 points, beat Whitehaven by two wickets to keep their slim chances alive and there were also a win for Haverigg over Workington with draws elsewhere.
In the First Division, leaders Egremont (215 points) were beaten by Kirkby and a winning draw to Dalton against Hawcoat Park has enabled them to close the gap to just eight points.
Seascale are 10 points further back after they were beaten by Workington II.
