Mark Boucher and AB de Villiers scored centuries as South Africa crushed the Pakistan Cricket Board XI by 176 runs in a one-day tour match at the Bagh-e-Jinnah ground on Tuesday.

Shaun Pollock, in his first match of the tour, hit paceman Abdur Rauf for four successive sixes in the final over to help the South Africa total to 328 for 4 in 45 overs after the home team had won the toss.

The PCB XI were dismissed for 152 in 31.3 overs, losing their last five wickets for 44 runs after 15-year old opener Ahmed Shehzad had cracked 35 from 44 balls to give the hosts a rapid start to their reply.

Charl Langeveldt took three wickets in one spell to destroy the PCB XI middle order and medium pacer Albie Morkel weighed in with three tailend wickets to complete the victory.

South Africa rested captain Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis while Vernon Philander was ruled out with a hamstring injury and is doubtful for the first of the five-match ODI series which starts in Lahore on Thursday.

Boucher opened the innings and struck 103 from 106 balls with 14 fours and one six while de Villiers scored an unbeaten 113 from 95 balls with nine fours and one six.

Stand-in skipper Justin Kemp hit 39 from 42 deliveries before Pollock finished the innings off with an 11-ball 33, Rauf going for 84 runs in his nine overs.
