New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has been ruled out of the One-Day International series with England and the ICC Champions Trophy with a torn side muscle.
He picked up the injury during England's 247-run victory in the second and final Test and has been replaced in New Zealand's squad by Ian Butler.
Boult is expected to be out of action for between six and eight weeks and it is the latest in a series of injury blows to have befallen New Zealand this month.
Andrew Ellis was replaced by Doug Bracewell in their Champions Trophy squad, although Butler's inclusion will need formal approval by the ICC ahead of the tournament.
Left-arm spinner Bruce Martin and wicket-keeper BJ Watling both picked up injuries in the opening Test at Lord's and were forced to miss the second match at Headingley.
New Zealand play England on 31st May, 2nd June and 5th June and then meet Australia, England again and Sri Lanka in the group stages of the Champions Trophy, a tournament they won back in 2000.
