Bristol Sells Out For International
The Club are very excited about the level of support, both from Club members and the general public. Initial ticket sales were boosted before Christmas as many supporters chose tickets as the perfect Christmas present and the Club were able to announce 2 stands selling out in just 2 days!
The Club are overwhelmed with the level of support, demonstrating the importance of International Cricket as a popular contribution to Bristol. It is now hoped that the interest in this International match encourages the public to attend other matches at the County Ground during the domestic season, especially the ever popular Twenty20 Cup. The first home Twenty20 match is on 25th June against Worcestershire and details can be found on the Club website.
Jane Chappell, Executive Assistant commented, “The ticket office was thriving with the sales for the NatWest Series Floodlit One Day International. We are really hoping that the atmosphere will be just as exciting in the ticket office in the run up to our domestic Twenty20 Cup matches. We understand many supporters may have been disappointed to miss out on these matches and urge them to try the action-packed Twenty20 matches, which are perfect for cricket lovers and an exciting introduction for those new to cricket. Supporters can take advantage of the advance ticket sales on our website www.glosccc.co.uk to guarantee their tickets for all the one day matches of the season.”
There are still a few hospitality packages available although the Club urges people to get in contact soon for details as they are expecting an increase in interest. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Kevin Ashley on 0117 9108013.
For further details on domestic Twenty20 Cup tickets please visit our website www.glosccc.co.uk, contact the ticket office on 0117 9108010 or visit the ticket office at the County Ground (office hours Monday to Friday 9-5pm).
