Chris Broad has thanked Leicestershire CCC for their collection for The Broad Appeal at the Friends Life t20 game against Nottinghamshire Outlaws last Friday.
The total money raised was £945.19 and Chris, who was joined on the field by son Stuart and Leicestershire CEO Mike Siddall during the interval, sent a personal message of thanks.
He said: “I’d like to thank Leicestershire CCC for allowing The Broad Appeal to have a collection during the game against Nottinghamshire last week.
“I am so grateful to East Midlands cricket and supporters for allowing us at The Broad Appeal to raise awareness and money for Motor Neurone Disease.”
Leicestershire CCC is delighted that the collection was a success and we hope that The Broad Appeal continues to raise lots of money, as well as increasing understanding of the disease.
