Netherlands 151 by four wickets
ICC World Cup 2011 warm-up match
Canada made an encouraging start to their World Cup preparations by beating the Netherlands by four wickets in an unofficial warm-up match.
Batting first, the Netherlands were dismissed for 151, setting a target which Canada overhauled with more than ten overs to spare.
Khurram Chauhan, Harvir Baidwan, Parth Desai and Balaji Rao all took two wickets for Canada as the Dutch were bowled out in 44.4 overs - Tom de Grooth top scoring with 41.
Canada's victory charge was then led by Jimmy Hansra, whose unbeaten 52 led them to a comfortable win despite Mudassar Bukhari returning four for 17.
Canada will meet Bangladesh and England in further warm-ups ahead of the tournament while the Netherlands will play Sri Lanka and Kenya.
Neither side is expected to make much impression at the tournament with making both sides 2000/1 to win.
