Cape Cobras 129-2 (Davids 69no) beat
Victoria 125-5 (Zondeki 2-21) by eight wickets
Airtel Champions League League B, Bangalore

The Cape Cobras maintained their unbeaten run in the Champions  League with an eight-wicket win over Victoria in the Super Eights at Bangalore.

Monde Zondeki picked up two wickets as the Victorian side were limited to 125 for five and Henry Davids struck an unbeaten 69 to guide his side home with an over to spare, the match having been reduced to 17 overs per side after a security scare early in the day.

Champions League organisers announced that a suspicious bag had been seized but after subsequent checks of the stadium and the bag, 'nothing of concern' was found.

The result also means that the Royal Challengers Bangalore are out of the tournament.

Davids faced 54 balls in his innings, hitting seven fours and two sixes.
