Captain Coetzer Out Of Australia ODI

Scotland captain Kyle Coetzer has been ruled out of the One-Day International against Australia on Tuesday with a wrist injury.

He picked up the injury during Friends Life t20 Finals Day with Northamptonshire and has failed to recover in time for the Edinburgh international.

Preston Mommsen will step in and captain the side while his replacement in the squad has yet to be confirmed.

Coetzer, who has played 15 One-Day Internationals, will have the wrist assessed ahead of the World Cricket League One-Day Internationals against Ireland on 6th and 8th September, which are crucial to Scotland's chances of qualifying for the 2015 World Cup.
